2021.10.24 00:02 MohabbatChaya Day 5 and still bloated
I read people saying that their bloating was noticeably down within a couple of days of not drinking. I'm on day 5 and my lower belly is still bloated. It gets worse when I eat and can cause lower back pain. The bloating started in June when my drinking got increasingly worse due to job change and it has not gone down since. Now I'm paranoid that I have ascites and dying. Blah My stomach used to be flat when I looked down at my feet. I'm a petite woman so it's definitely not fat and It feels SO full at times. My husband said he doesn't really notice the bloat at all which is a good sign I think.
Did it take longer for anyone else for the bloat to go down?
Less concerning question - have you noticed a lot of muscle twitches/spasms after quitting?

2021.10.24 00:02 Pumpkin_grin Museum fishing bug?
Ive been working on catching new fish to complete my museum and just now tonight caught the barreleye. I know i didnt have it before cause i rarely play at night, and it did the "yes!" Thing when i caught it..
However when i went to donate it blathers said i didnt have anything to donate and the barreleye was already in my museum? It did this with the cherry salmon as well but i didnt think much of it at first
Does catching a new fish now just auto add it to the museum?or is this just a weird (yet kinda helpful) bug

2021.10.24 00:02 supernom Are people generally optimistic about the long term future? Life planning etc rantish post.
Not sure if this is the right place to post this but it's been on my mind so thought I'd throw it out here and see what people have to say about it and maybe have similar feelings?
I have always been of the opinion that I will have kids one day. Never had a set time/age in mind but I knew that I wanted to be financially secure and stable in life probably like most people do.
My partner and I are both 32 now and to be honest I'm not so sure about life anymore? We earn ok money but nothing fantastic, we don't really have "careers" where we will progress. My industry I have been in for over 10 years is well known as low paying compared to other trades.
A big part of me feels like I wouldn't be able to provide the life I would want for my children. Is this a normal feeling to have? I would feel so guilty if we brought children into the world and struggled to give them a great life from struggling paycheck to paycheck.
Will the world be a better place for our children? I'm not 100% convinced. I guess changes will always be happening but the world feels very different than it did when I was young.
I dunno if this ranting makes sense but i feel it's worth getting my thoughts out into the open and maybe other people can share also.

2021.10.24 00:02 gatorhead8 23 │ F │ United States │ Looking to send vintage snail mail!
Hi everyone :-)
I would like to mention that I have had success with using Reddit to find snail mail friends, however they seem to have fallen out of touch over time. So, here I am, looking for more penpal friends to write to!
A little about me: I enjoy a variety of topics and hobbies including true crime, psychology, travel, fitness, poetry, reading, music for sure, and art. I am positive that I am missing things, however I'm sure that encompasses plenty. :-) I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in forensic psyhcology, and have found that I do not have much time to socialize due to my busy schedule. However writing letters comes easy to me, and I have found it is a great way to share and learn deeply about others in a relaxing way. I also tend to find time to travel a lot, sending postcards from the places that I visit. I think it is a great way to share experiences with others who I care about, and know it would be appreciated by others who enjoy the old-school format.
Anyone interested in exchanging letters are welcome to message me; I am open to new friends from around the world!
